Terms & Conditions

1. Ordering

  • All orders should be confirmed at least 3 business days in advance.
  • We recommend booking as early as possible for larger or specialised requests to ensure availability.
  • Final numbers and dietary requirements must be confirmed by the cut-off date provided in your booking.


2. Cancellations & Changes

  • Orders can be amended up to 48 hours prior to delivery.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a partial or full charge to cover preparation and ingredient costs.
  • Cancellations must be submitted via email to ensure a clear record.


3. Delivery

  • We deliver across Auckland — please get in touch to find out the delivery cost.
  • Additional fees may be charged for urgent delivery requests or deliveries outside standard business hours.
  • We aim to deliver within your specified time window but cannot be held liable for delays outside our control (e.g. traffic, weather).
  • Pick up option is also available, free of charge.

4. Dietary Requirements

  • We are happy to accommodate dietary needs where possible (e.g. vegetarian, gluten-free, low- FODMAP), but cannot guarantee allergen-free environments.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of any allergies or sensitivities in advance.


5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon confirmation of final numbers, or as otherwise agreed in advance.
  • For corporate or recurring clients, invoicing terms may be arranged.
  • A deposit may be required for large or custom orders.


6. Serving & Presentation

  • Our food is delivered ready to serve unless otherwise specified.
  • We do not supply serving staff or on-site equipment unless agreed in advance.
  • We can supply napkins, disposable plates and cutlery if you can inform us at time of booking. Please note that an additional charge will apply.


7. Liability

  • Luca’s Deli is not liable for any adverse reactions to food consumed where dietary requirements, allergies, or intolerances were not fully disclosed in writing at the time of ordering, or where provided instructions were not followed
  • Once food has been delivered, responsibility for storage and food safety lies with the client.
  • Full reheating instructions will be provided, along with guidance on safe food handling and appropriate temperature control.

8. Consultations & Custom Orders

  • Free consultations are available for larger or specialised catering. Custom menus can be designed to
    suit your needs.
  • All terms for larger bookings will be outlined during your consultation.
